The half-metre tray has a capacity of 8 litres, and is specifically designed for strawberry cultivation. The substrate tray is suitable for cultivation under glass or on racks. The bin fits both the modern steel gutter and a 51 mm tube. The half-metre tray has a number of benefits:

• Markings on the top of the tray's edge tell you where the plant should be placed for optimal plant distribution.
• When temporarily placed on a waiting bed, the bin makes no contact with the soil.
• A cheap irrigation system is possible when combined with T-tape or an in-line drip hose.
