Tropicote contains mostly nitrate nitrogen. Plants prefer the nitrate form. Thanks to the high nitrate content, there is very little risk of leaf burn. Tropicote contains completely water soluble calcium. Calcium is important to crop quality. Only a small part of the calcium soil stock is present in the soil solution and directly available to the plant. If extra calcium is not supplied during growth, the soil will exhaust, resulting in a calcium deficiency in the plant.
