Capillary (Green/E) 5 litres 60cm 3.2 x 1
The capillary dripper is one of the first types of drippers. The capacity of the capillary dripper is determined by: the operational pressure, length, and inside diameter of the capillary. This allows for a large variety in capacities. The flow in the capillary is not turbulent. The capacities per dripper can differ significantly (higher CV value), especially as the drippers get older and more grime enters the system. Its sensitivity to clogging is a bit higher than its successors , such as the Cobra, Woodpecker and Kameleon.
Starting in 2016, Revaho has been using a new system to code the capillary drippers. The inside diameter is shown by using a letter coding system. The microtube has a letter (A, B, C, D, E) printed on it, which corresponds to the coding and capacity table shown below. Capillary drippers delivered before 2015 are provided with a number (1,2,3,4). This number shows the capacity at 0,5 bar.
- Basic dripper with a pressure-sensitive function
- 5 codes (A, B, C, D, E)
- Lowest uniformity compared to more modern drippers
- Microtube is cut straight rather than at an angle (per 1-1-2015), for a better connection to the screw connector
- Can be delivered with cap s connection
Can be used in various crops with small spacing between beds.
