COMPO Scarification Mix 3 in 1 contains lawn fertiliser, a soil activator and different grass seed varieties specially selected for a fast and sustainable recovery of scarified lawns.

• The fertiliser has a long action of 3 months
• The grass seeds (ryegrass and Poa Pratensis) ensure rapid and dense growth of the lawn
• The soil activator improves the soil structure and corrects its acidity

To enjoy a more resilient and dense green turf, it is important to scarify the lawn. This measure, which removes moss and felt - which suffocate the lawn - allows the soil to aerate and gives new life to the old lawn. Once the lawn has been scarified, it can absorb water and nutrients much more easily.

Instructions for use:

COMPO Scarification Mix 3 in 1 is a ready-to-use product. Follow the steps below for a beautiful, deep green and quick result.

• Scarification: First mow the lawn as short as possible. Then select the maximum setting on the scarifier. Scarify the lawn in one direction and then in the transverse direction. It should be done carefully so that the new grass seeds can make optimum contact with the soil and the roots can receive sufficent air, water and nutrients.
• Spread COMPO Scarification Mix: Before you can restore your lawn, you need to prepare the soil. You do this by removing dead grass, stones or other unevenness. Then evenly distribute COMPO Scarification Mix 3 in 1 on the surface to be repaired. Wear gloves when doing so. The recommended dose is 30 to 40 g/m². Depending on the intensity of the scarification, the dose can be increased slightly. Then lightly rake in the product.
• Watering: Water the scarified treated area with COMPO Scarification Mix abundantly and regularly. This is necessary for the grass seed to germinate properly: the first sprouts must be kept well moist. Mow the renewed lawn when the grass blades are approximately 8 cm long. Do not mow shorter than 6 cm.

Please note: due to its specific composition, it is not recommended to apply this product with a spreader.
The ideal time to scarify is from April to October at a constant soil temperature of at least 10°C. Soil and air temperatures may vary particularly in spring.
