feed mite Nutari CL 2 million
Supplementary food for generalist predatory mites.
Use Voermijt CL to maintain or increase the population of generalist predatory mites in the crop. It works for all our generalist phytoseiid leaf-dwelling predators: Amblydromalus limonicus, Amblyseius swirskii, Neoseiulus californicus, Neoseiulus cucumeris, and Transeius montdorensis.
Application
To achieve good establishment of predatory mites, prey mites should be applied regularly. We recommend applying them weekly. Start at the same time as or just after the first introduction of predatory mites. Continue applications throughout the season, even if pests are present.
It is important that the prey mites reach the leaves. They can be released by sprinkling on the leaves using an Airobug or by hand. Large clumps of carrier material can cause leaf damage, so ensure the material is distributed as a thin, even layer.
Predafeed can be mixed with a wide range of Koppert predatory mites and can also be used in combination with predatory mite sachets.
Carpoglyphus lactis is tolerant of a wide range of conditions and generally survives well in conditions suitable for predatory mites. They can be applied when predatory mites are used in the crop. They are still consumed when dead but not when completely dried out. Use in very dry conditions is therefore not recommended.
Carpoglyphus lactis has a very short shelf life in the package and should therefore be introduced into the crop as soon as possible after receipt. Failure to do so may negatively affect their quality. If you need to store Voermijt CL, do so for a maximum of 1–2 days at a storage temperature of 6–12 °C in the dark. Ensure ventilation to prevent CO2 buildup.
