Ferto-Gypsum is a wet product and contains calcium in sulfate form (CaSO4). Gypsium, also calcium sulfate, has a positive imact on soil structure, mostly on clay soils with high pH lebels. Good soil structure is essential to a grower. Water regulation, rooting, disease resistance and the plot's traffic resistance are essential to a strong and healthy crop, and no limitations when working the soil or harvesting. For good soil structure, it is essential that enough calcium is present. Calcium keeps the clay particles at a distance from each other, for n airy, loose structure. Additionally, calcium ensures good binding of the clay particles. Calcium is also important on sandy soils; it fixates organic substances.
