LalGuard M52 OD is a biological insecticide based on the active substance Metarhizium brunneum strain Ma 43. The innovative formulation contains viable spores encapsulated in micro-droplets of oil, significantly increasing the survival rate of the fungi. This enables effective control of various pests across a wide range of crops.

Mode of Action:

• Adhesion: After application, the fungal spores adhere to the insect’s body and almost immediately produce a germ tube.

• Penetration: The germ tube releases a variety of enzymes that break down the protective outer layer of the insect, allowing the tube to penetrate and reach the interior of the body.

• Colonization: A large number of new single-celled spores, called blastospores, are generated and spread throughout the insect’s body. This is followed by a massive fungal growth, leading to discoloration of the insect's body due to necrosis. The insect dies within 3 to 7 days.
