In the cultivation of various crops (potatoes, tobacco, wine grapes), a responsible copper addition will help increasing chlorophyl production and lengthening the growh period. Copper stimulates synthesis of proteins. It also plays a role in the production and translocation of various enzymes (lactase, polyphenol oxidase, tyrosinase, ascorbid acid oxydase).
