Macrocheles robustulus 50.000 pcs Biopol
Macrocheles robustulus is a medium-sized predatory mite (about 1 mm). It feeds on various organisms living in the topsoil layer, such as the eggs, larvae, and pupae of the fungus gnat (Sciaridae), thrips pupae, springtail larvae, and Duponchelia. The adults are light brown in color and very active. The development from egg to adult takes 10 to 13 days at 25°C.
Application:
Macrocheles robustulus is most active in moist soil with a loose structure. Spread the material on the soil surface or on the pot. Do not apply it directly into the planting hole or against plant parts. The dosage ranges from 50 to 500 predatory mites per m², depending on whether the infestation of thrips and/or fungus gnats is preventive or severe. Dosage also depends on the crop and cultivation period. Preventive release is possible.
