The Bato 7 litre pot is the smaller version of the 10 litre pot, for various crops such as raspberries. The pot is provided with a complete grid bottom for optimal drainage, preventing wet(ter) spots in the substrate. Extra drainage holes at the sides are possible for even better drainage. the pot has 4 tall, open feet at the corners. The opening makes it possible to place a plastic drain gutter underneath the pot, for the collection of drain water. The tall pot feet allow plenty of space between the bottom of the pot and the soil, so that disease outbreaks are prevented. When transplanting a plant from a 4.7 to a 7 litre Bato pot, the rootball will fit the 7 litre bin perfectly, so that you only need to fill the substrate underneath the plant, and no air is contained between the rootball and the sides of the pot. This saves labour when transplanting. The pot is also available with a arrow edge (standard delivered with a wide edge) so that exactly 5 pots per metre can be placed.
