Excellent insulation

Thanks to its unique (pearl)structure, EPS is comprised of about 98% air. Stationary air is the best possible insulator. It is no surprise, then, that it has extremely good warmth- and cold insulating characteristics. The product is extremely durable and sturdy. As EPS absorbs no moisture, it will perform well in compressive strength and heat conduction for many years. It is insensitive to moisture, is rot- and mould free, and does not create a breeding ground for fungi and bacteria. This is the reason why these are the ideal strips for underneath rockwool slabs.
